What Vaccines Are Required?
We require all pets to be up to date on Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations
- Rabies is required by Texas law.
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough) helps protect all pets in our care. Even though we have thorough cleaning practices many dogs we see also attend boarding or daycare, so this added protection helps keep everyone safe.
How Long Should I Wait To Groom My Dog After Vaccinations?
We recommend waiting at least 48 hours after your dog has been vaccinated. This allows time for any soreness or mild side effects to subside so your pet is comfortable during their appointment.
Do You Groom Female Dogs Who Are In Heat?
We do not groom dogs while they are in heat. This is for sanitary reasons and to help prevent unnecessary stress for your pet.
Do You Groom Dogs With Stitches?
We are unable to groom pets with stitches. Your dog will need to have the stitches removed and be cleared by your veterinarian before scheduling a grooming appointment.
Do You Groom Dogs With Severe Health Concerns?
Dogs with serious health conditions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We'll ask a few questions about your pet's health to ensure grooming can be done safely and comfortably.
Do You Treat Dogs With Fleas or Ticks?
We do not groom pets that are actively infested with fleas or ticks. This must be treated by a veterinarian beforehand to prevent spreading parasites to other pets in the salon.
